Alphabet Album Webinars:

The Battle of the Sits  - Available immediately for you after you sign up

(Dr. Leslie Eide presenter/ Ameera Skandarani moderator)

Tuck Sit....

Rock Back Sit....

What's the difference? Why do you chose one? the other?

This webinar discusses the anatomical differences between the two types of sits. It will covers how to teach the two sits and why it's important to teach both and use both in your fitness plan. Wealso briefly touch on the two types of stands to create a training loop (kick-back stand and push-forward stand).

Dr. Leslie Eide, DVM, CCRT

Leslie graduated from Colorado State University’s Veterinary School in 2006. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine in Albuquerque, NM. She continued her education by becoming certified in canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehab Institute with a focus on sports medicine. Leslie continues to learn more about rehabilitation, sports medicine and pain management through daily practice and continuing education seminars.

In the agility world, Leslie has trained two dogs to their ADCH (Agility Dog Champion), one to ADCH Bronze, ATCH2 (Agility Trial Champion), and MACH (Master Agility Champion). Three of her dogs have qualified and competed at USDAA Nationals with multiple Grand Prix Semi-final runs.

Leslie’s interest in sports did not start with agility though! As a swimmer she learned about exercise physiology, sports medicine, and physical therapy. When she’s not training and conditioning her dogs, She also enjoys competing in triathlons.

Adam Skandarani

Adam has been working with dogs professionally as a pet care professional, photographer, judge and as a trainer. They have worked mostly with pet dogs but have recently been developing a  system for raising well-rounded sport and pet dogs. Living with and loving two boxers who are very different to each other has expanded their knowledge base and motivation to keep learning and sharing.

Adam's experience training cats and parrots add depth to their understanding of the importance of positive training.
