Positive Dog training is a team game. But is it really?
Join an amazing panel conversation to explore the concepts of permission, consent, cooperation and responsibility for the human and canine side of training. With decades of collective experience and a keen curiosity to dig into current best practices, each member of the panel has a unique experience and perspective to share. They will be exploring 10 questons and offering their experiences and considerations of the issues and applications of consent, cooperation and responsibility in animal training. If you are able to join live you will have an opportunity to ask questions and participate in the discussion. If you aren't able to join live the recording will be available afterwards.
Our panellists
Linda Randall, DVM, is a companion animal veterinarian and owner of One Smart Dog, a positive reinforcement training center in Seville, OH as well as a farmer. A busy woman Linda has been recognized in many different fields. A KPA CPT Linda enjoys working with her border collies and riding her friend's Icelandic horses. running her training centre One Smart Dog. Linda, who has taught school in Poughkeepsie NY and in Nigeria, is known for her joyful yet detailed manner of instructing kids working with their dogs. Her students compete successfully in agility, and tend to sing, dance and laugh a lot in her lessons. Linda presents webinars and talks on Trauma Informed /Trauma Assumed Care, and on the integration of Health and Behavior with her co-host Kathie Nurena, MD, KPA CPT.

Ayoka Bubar is a CPDT - KA, CCUI and an approved Canadian Association of Rally Obedience (CARO) Judge. She has been a dog training instructor since 2008. Training and showing in a variety of performance venues including agility, tracking, herding, rally, obedience and conformation has really helped her understand the way breaking things down and seeking clarity in instruction and competing can lead to success. Rottweilers are her passion and her two beautiful girls are playing many sports with joy and success.

Adam Skandarani, CCUI has been working with dogs professionally as a pet care professional, photographer, judge and trainer. He has worked mostly with pet dogs and has recently been developing a system for raising well-rounded sport and pet dogs. Currently living with the delightful Flash and charming Wbble as well as other species has expanded Adam's knowledge base and motivation to keep learning and sharing. Adam's experience training cats and parrots adds depth to his understanding of the importance of positive training.
